Shalvey / Mooney : TALK

This week Declan Shalvey (Thunderbolts, 28 Days Later, Northlanders) and Stephen Mooney (Angel, Half Past Danger) sit down for a frank, honest discussion about the comic book industry. They shed light on everything from how social media benefits comic book artists to the changes they’ve witnessed in the emerging comic book scene in Ireland.

Really enjoyed this episode. Great to hear Messrs. Shalvey and Mooney wittering on. I also want to add to the opinion that The Comic Cast does a brilliant & essential job. I certainly wouldn’t know half of what’s going on in the Irish comic scene without the effort you two put in.
I don’t care if you never read another comic Liam just keep doing the interviews. Anyway, Craig’s opinions on comics are worth two Jonathon Ross’ any day.

I’m an American. A despicable American. But Captain America was never my captain. Vicki Pollard is the heart and soul of modern Britain. But who’s the emblematic Irishman? Shane MacGowan? Brendan Behan? Colm Meaney? I saw Meaney in the “sexy flesh” at the premier of that “Intermission” movie in Cambridge, MA. Lots of Micks in Boston, of course, and the premiere was well-attended. Pity it was such a rubbish film. But there ya go.
