With Halloween fast approaching it’s only fitting that on this weeks Comic Cast we review Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie! And speaking of bringing dead dogs back to life – we also review Dredd. In Irish comics we inspect At War with the Empire by Gerry Hunt, Ghost of Shandon by Alan Corbett and Tales from the Void by Darrin O’Toole and A. Kaviraj. Great show guys! Enjoyed the alcohol element, how very Irish of me. Thanks a million for mentioning Half Past Adnger and the deal with IDW, much appreciated. One teeny correction though: It’s DAVE Hendrick who’s writing the back-up story, not his brother John, who is the proprietor of the fine BIg Bang comic book store in Dundrum. A big detail you guys didn’t mention there is the fact that the art for that story will be provided by one Mr. Declan Shalvey.
