Ears Wide Shut: or How We Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Podcast
This week the Comic Cast is full of stars as we come live from the Light House Cinema, Smithfield, Dublin for the launch of Taming Light - a group exhibition of new painting, photography and illustration paying tribute to one of our favourite filmmakers, Stanley Kubrick. We talk to curator and Sunday Business Post film critic John Maguire, artist David Cleary, cinema mogul Michael Roycroft and illustrators Chris Judge and Brenb. We also discuss comic giant Jack Kirby’s comic series of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Redrum, H.A.L. 9000 and jelly donuts - this shows got it all. Enjoy!

Hey Eoin, it is a great tune, isn’t it? It’s the theme from Eyes Wide Shut and called “Jazz Suite, Waltz 2″ Written by Dmitri Shostakovich.

Cheers Stephen, def pop in and have a gawk at the exhibition if you get a chance. The Light House is perfect for it – like walking through a 2001 set.
Thank YOU Chris for coming on the show. Yeah the ambiance sounded great, really opened our eyes to where to record things and duly noted for future episodes.
